We are presently hiring for the following:
Direct Youth Care Specialist - responsible for the supervision of youth to ensure safety and appropriate social behaviors are practiced during their daily activities; serve as a role model and mentor. Requirements: a HS diploma, experience working with children/adolescents with emotional/substance abuse. A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for work experience. Must be able to work flexible hours.
Youth Support Specialist - Part time, casual position, working one-on-one with severely emotionally disturbed youth and their families in the community. Requirements: Experience working with at-risk children and their families, or two years of education in the Human Services field. Hours are flexible to meet the youth's schedule.
Are you a teacher or paraprofessional? New Day is looking for a non-certified or certified teacher/paraprofessional to teach in primary classroom for emotionally disturbed youth. Hours: 8-3 Mon-Fri.
